STREET BEAT By Coke.

Hi there all yo mob, Coke here back from the jungle to bring you the latest update. Word has it that all is still not well in the Wastelands, Pit and the Cage. The Warriers are into the circus routine and the flyers are the audience most obliging to give and offer treats for the routine performed. The True Believers are not fooled, but unfortunately the Binungs and sharp shooters are leaning to the flyers for All.... The elastoplaste is just getting more expensive because the flyers are purchasing more and more as the days go by. But still the circus routine continues without fail...The Soldiers are also getting a raw deal also, they are being mouthed about the so called palm trick. But only if the powers to be and the flyers opened their eyes, solutions can be puy into place. Old Wiseman say, YOU KEEP GIVING ME DRINK OF WATER, I GO NOWHERE. YOU KEEP GIVING ME CHOW, I DEFINATLY GO NOWHERE, I AM CONTENTED...The Wastelands are becoming more of a wasteland, with the Vicks and Sewing Pastimes in full swing there. Sooner or later will realize that the Band Aid effect does not work, it just adds Flavor to the Flour. With this happening, with every one step forward, six are taken back... Talk about a sad state of affairs Australia Wide. The Pit has just become one big happy playground for all. The lights are working overtime, but the breeze thing is happening more and more. No wonder the there are Soldiers seriously looking at other forms of clocking on. The trouble with the Pit is that there are too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. The Cage is like a firestorm, everyone are running here and there to put out the little fires when the wind blows from anywhere. At the moment, people are running around in circles and nothing constructive is being done. Again the Band Aid effect is happening full on. On a lighter note our funny or the goes an encounter with a shop owner. Picture this Indigenous person heading into a certain shop to pickup some bread. The shop owner told the person to just help himself with the bread, take as much as you like. The person proceeded to do so. When the shop owner went to the rear of he shop the Indigenous person was left with his back toward the front counter of the shop just taking loafes of bread off the shelves. Upon sensing that he was being watched, he turned around to see three Uni Students staring with a evil look at him. He stated Can I help you? There was no reply. He asked them again, and again, there was no reply. He paused for a moment and then stated, No I am not stealing the bread, Can I help you? It was then and only then did one student say, two loaves of brown bread please! Meanwhile the owner had came back out and was standing behind the Bro as those words were replied Talk about guilty by the colour of ones skin. And Branded by the color of the skin...Anyway those voices are calling again Time to cut back into the thick of it Catch you out and about Coke. I am an Aborigine with thoughts so many:
Equality, Love, Happiness, Hope, Peace, Sadness
Deeply they go down searching every corner.
One laments bitterly but no one hears
But no one listens
Is all lost?
Is nothing gained?
Alone am I.
Part 2
I am an Aborigine brought up by white ways
To love, to think, to act.
Lost forever is my mother’s gentle touch
My father’s tribal ways
Lost forever is our happy gathering.
The past be forgotten
The present I shall wait
I alone afraid lest I should break
Hungry, thirsty in mind and soul
For someone to call my own
Someone to Love someone to cling to
When nights are cold and lonely.
Part 3 Acceptance
Walk tall don’t fall, head high
Clear eye.
Put behind things unkind
Hesitate to retaliate then you start anew.
Extend hand to fellow man
Black and white hand can unite
Then expect some respect
Trouble cease, start of peace.
If we accept and not reject one another
As brother and sister.

ANTaR (4)

From: ARTHUR BELL. To: Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation.

Re: The Crisis in this Country, and A.N.T.A.R s proclaimed National Agenda, of a ‘Commitment to Reconciliation in this Country’.

I call on A.N.T.A.R. National, and their Indigenous Advisors and Supporters to make a Public Statement and Stand, and, IMMEDIATELY organise a Sea of Hands in Cronulla and Nationwide with Every Available Prominent and Identified, National, State and Local, Aboriginal and Islander Spokespeople as Descendants of the Original Owners and Custodians of this Country, Anglo Australians, and National Islamic Leaders, along with Government representatives, as a National Conference or Summit, to Confront and Discuss in a Serious Attempt to END this Deplorable and Very Dangerous situation that has developed in This Country and that could Quite Easily Escalate into Unprecedented Insanity. It is Vitally Important that Blame Apportioning and the People With That Mindset or Agenda, NOT BE TOLERATED!! ( this was faxed to all State offices and others in Australia immediately after the Cronulla riots, by me. I was told it couldn't be organised)

Re: The Lack of a presence in the Aftermath of What Happened at Cronulla “Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation”.

The proclaimed, advocate and supporter of reconciliation in this Country and with the involvement and support of numerous prominent 'descendants of the original inhabitants and owners of this Country . Including academics as advisors and role-models the many agendas that that seek to reinforce confirm and to perpetuate the victim status and mentality of the Aboriginal and Islander Peoples of Australia, have to be discarded we risk deserved condemnation from our great great great grand-children for inheriting and burdening them with issues not only unresolved but unresolvable.
Issues that they will have in the main no real understanding or comprehension of , other than as 10th generation victims and of the ongoing rich and bountiful so called Aboriginal or Victim Industry This being the pursuit of and in the realm of out of touch with reality one eyed financially secure academics in their eternal quest for literary fame and immortality. The ANTaR and similar agendas will cement bolt and condemn us to and in the past forever and therefore make our presence and our views irrelevant. Is this the agenda s of secure middle class moral postures ?

as accepted, by a lot of Indigenous and non Indigenous , with their Public Proclamations, Publications and Protestations, as to having a Genuine Commitment to a True and a Just Reconciliation in this Country, ANTaR

Demanding the whole Aboriginal nations lock our focus attention and activities on events of the past, event that we could impact on, only symbolically. To disguise and in an attempt their own present failings and inadequacies activities and agendas

Totally unprepared to deal with developing situations like Cronulla Other than the culture of blame apportioning that has developed and within or as the victim industry.

Indigenous Media (3)

What about Ed Knowles! (non- Aboriginal) editor of the Failed, Murri Views, Director of N.I.R.S, and now Manager! Is this a Conflict of Interest? Are they a, Law Unto Themselves? Music Advisers and People requesting Songs ( if they can get them! ) is all A.A.A. want to hear from. The switchboard would be over-loaded when Members of Parliament are on the Talk Back segment on any radio. Not on " Let's Talk " though, The sad fact is, No-one listens to Murri Country Radio, and, That's Official. Peter Hill admitted as much. As a media monitor, AAA is my preference. Good music and Almost add-free! Local, State and Federal governments all contribute, via Grants, Ads that no-one takes seriously and Sponsorship for A.F.L football, that no-one listens to !! www.whitc. info visitors will be kept up to date on these and other developments in this never-ending saga with the Indigenous Media. Including the ABC's Message Stick and Yarn Time.

I did mention to Ron Brunton when I spoke to him recently that there were problems in this area. Could have been a waste of time! More of the, Political Correctness Employment Program. People sitting in jobs for years !! They reckon they Own Them!! A lot are encouraged to. Especially if they don't look to Black and ain't to Radical.! (keep us as victims) they can sit around for years ( not to forget Karla and Larissa ) I would say that this would be a factor in the, continued and secure long term employment, of a lot of Aboriginal People. Selective Investigative Journalism. Without Fear or Favour ? There is a big difference between the People of National Indigenous T.V. and the Traditional Aboriginal in-put of Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association ( CAAMA ) Fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000 ) in the latest budget to NITV. A station that over two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) Aboriginal People watch !! The whole Aboriginal population !! According to spokesperson Pat Turner. What a Load of Bull Shit !! I don't know anyone At All that watches. Let alone Black-fellas !!

The National Indigenous Times !! What a Big Joke !! They have to go on “Let's Talk” on Murri Country Radio (AAA) to tell this very limited audience what's in their paper, as no-one buys it !! (NIT) Though they won't admit this !! Editor Amy Mcqire is aware of the Censorship issues with this radio station yet still supports it !! They are all part of this Fraud. ( misrepresentation by omission ) Twenty thousand (20,000) copies are distributed (dumped at A&I services) Back up again from twelve (12.000) copies !! The paid up subscription would be no more than about three( 3.000 )max. The Indigenous Media's role, as they will all tell anyone who listens and even in their submissions for further and continuing funding, ( more fraud ) is to present an alternative view from the negative stereotyped view and reporting presentation of Aboriginal and Islander ( but mainly Aboriginal ) People by the Mainstream Media. They all play the game, CENSORSHIP! This is the reason that these people get away with so much, No-one Challenges Them !! One reason for this is simply, No-one reads these papers or listens to Aboriginal radio. Other than the music !!

Aden Ridgeway got elected to the Senate. And as far as I know, his main contribution was to Help to Destroy the Credibility of the Democrats. And as an Architect and Activist, was Instrumental in the fall of the, Lovely and Dynamic Natasha Stott Despoja. With nothing to offer. Any-ways he was kicked out next election. And now a Tourist Organisation, no less, has been Created just for him !! As though the Indigenous and Australian Tourist Industry isn't already over loaded. And for many years. A lot of Australians including, Aboriginal and Islander People have worked hard for years to get their particular and appropriate Tourist Ventures, including, Agencies, up and running !! And many have succeeded. No thanks to Aden Ridgeway !! But if you are a Failed Aboriginal Politician You get Rewarded. Why is This So ? Political Correctness, or just, Good Public Relations, Rewarding Failure? This is a good example to pass to the Younger Generations ! This actually Justifies and in turn, Encourages, Failure! The A.V.I ? If Aden Ridgeway, a National Role Model, Accepts as a Victim, Why Move On ? 13/2. He is now, National NAIDOC Chairman ! His Dream Team ? or Dream Time " ? With " Fair go " the theme for 08 ! ....to be continued

The people and the agendas that have for so long kept our peoples attention focused on the past and for so long as victims, has left us almost totally incapable of not only comprehending what is happening, but seemingly unable, to offer anything constructive to any Multicultural issue. Would Aboriginal input be acceptable or even welcome? Is there any one single individual as a genuine rep

for Aboriginal Australia with a view or perception of not only What's Happening in This Country but not as Victim or Industry Rep. who can project or present sufficient authority to be able to?So we the descendants of the original (?)occupants of this Country are expected to continue the Aboriginal struggle and not be to concerned by the Catastrophes that are Erupting around us. After being kept out of touch with developments in this Country with the One Dimensional Agendas. And now could all be rendered Irrelevant. As the Country now has to shift all focus and priories to the Present Problems and Crises. And seek a solution. The Mentality and Culture of Blame Apportioning must be

in this instance be not only Discarded but Condemned as an Impediment and Obstruction to Objective Discussion and Debate and to our Authority and participation Not as Victims, this retreat into the past and refusal to let go agenda's. No awareness of world affairs and how they affect us and our great grandchildren. The agenda Seeks to not only to Suppress but also to Subjugate the Indigenous Voice other than as Victims, but to enslave our g.g.g..grandchildren by setting in motion issues that they ensure are not only Irresolvable but also Unsolvable. Rudely dragged into the present with its crises from the past where we can no longer dwell and emphasise the importance of the ability to deal with now and the future.... tbc (alb c 07)

Education

No matter what is taught at school, Children will ultimately be influenced by and inevitably succumb to, the habits and teachings, by observation, and experiences, of the, home environment, i.e. Mother Father, Brothers and Sisters and not to forget, Uncles and Aunts. The Extended Family. And adopt and develop in that direction. Girls have children to escape this. Pension, endowment, your own place.

When the AVI use the overseas precedent or examples to support or to establish some project or service organisation, they all ways bring up the, Native American or The Maori. You would never hear or see the Indian or Pakistani People and their achievements with a history of colonisation, used as an example. What about the Afro Americans and their achievements ? Despite their Dispossession....to be continued

Aboriginal people were not prepared for this seismic shift.

This was all due to the seismic shift in Aboriginal communities bought about by the creation and establishment of Aboriginal organisation services....

The local Aboriginal Medical Service here in Brisbane is offering Reward Packages, via adds in the media, to Aboriginal People to Attend this Service. How could they possibly represent us ?! ....to be continued

I have to Lighten-Up occasionally !! With all this depressing and disagreeable knowledge and news that I possess and deliver !! It's a burden !! And I certainly don't enjoy it. Having to pay to do so out of my pension doesn't make me feel any better !!

Board, Management and Staff of A&I organisation Services up to and even now, Would have been called or described as “Up Town Niggers” By other Aboriginal People at one time or another !! Yes it is a Very Common Usage by Black-fellas. And in the Aboriginal Communities. the term is used quite regularly by Aboriginal People. To describe other Black-fellas seen to be, Better Off or Privileged. ( The Aboriginal Elite? ) Also on Aboriginal communities. In Cherbourg for instance, there is a new housing ( estate? ) area across the road from the old Settlement. It is commonly referred to as “Snob Hill”. This is where the term, “Up Town Niggers” is used in a Social Context (?) By other Aboriginals.

You see with me, an innovator and even inventor , I am all-ways looking to, Solve Problems. And when I read or hear (as a media monitor) of Initiatives, Programs and some, Grand Ideas thought up by the AVI, I all-ways ask, What problem will it solve ? Or, How will it improve our lives ? And as may be noticed in my scribblings, No Problem Solved, is a phrase used by me....to be continued (alb)

ABC MessageStick 9/10/10. Bloodlines-The Torres family. This was interesting. They ( Mitch?) made this statement, “ We will not sit back and wait for other people to change our lives. We do it our selves ” Wonder if old cuz Richard Downs from Ampilatwatja watches MS and his views on their ( Torres family ) Attitude.

The show about the slums of Lagos in Nigeria. ( Welcome to Lagos. SBS 5/10 ) In the adds leading up to the third instalment, “It will Challenge your views on Poverty” Not Stephen Hagan's !! He is one of many like them three (wise?) monkeys. You know the ones, one with hands over it's ears, one over the mouth and the other the eyes. But take the one with it's hands over it's mouth away, and leave the Blind and the Deaf !! This no reflection on Stephen's or other AVI's looks !! But their attitudes !!

“Unfortunately in the Aboriginal world we attack each other all the time”. William “Smiley” Johnstone, Chairman of the Australian Rugby League Indigenous Council. ( Weekend Australian 9-10 October ) To true Smiley! though others (AVI) would have us believe otherwise. I think it's called “sweeping it under the carpet” or “let's pretend”

Racism ?

Timana Tahu: “My own people out to get me.” Welcome to the real world of Aboriginal society Timana !! Almost All high profile Aboriginal People including and especially Sports-peoples main detractors are so-called, “our people” !! It's called the “Tall Poppy Syndrome” Aboriginal version. Aboriginal people will bad-mouth and demean others including People that are trying to improve their situation in life. Achievers and people with a lot of self-respect. This is very common in Aboriginal society. It is an aspect of the victim status and mentality where if someone is rising above their disadvantages the other victims see it as a reflection on them and that they will also have to do something.

These People think and would have us believe and behave as though the present conflict is of the old 'Dad and Dave' or 'Jacky Jacky and the Boss' era. These people in their ignorance. Someone should reveal and tell them that we, in fact, have moved on from there.

Victims?!?! We could never be anything else!! People would not expect us as Forever Victims, to have a comprehension or understanding of world affairs. Not only now, but in the foreseeable future.

And how they impact on the present, And how these present events and happenings will affect our great great great grandchildren. As it will obviously be for many years and generations,

Locked Bolted and Cemented in and to the Past. Why we can't move on. Why they don't want us to !!!!

And I suppose the rest of the Country and the World, will be quite happy with that Situation !!!!

The Hidden Agendas. Utilising the availability and the focus of the Enormous and at this stage, Totally Overwhelming Clout and Influence of, the A.V.I !! ANTaR and associates deserve a lot of credit.... to be continued. A.L.B.

“ There is no Aboriginal person who is not affected by the removal of their people from lands, from communities, from families and from culture.” Only because the AVI forced this situation

" Aboriginal People will not move on until this matter is resolved," Ms O'Donoghue said. Without compensation, the Government would be faced with " a litany of Trevorrows, a litany of court cases".

Ms O'Donoghue has no authority to speak on behalf of the Aboriginal People of Australia. This is the ongoing saga of Who exactly are the Leaders. Lois O'Donoghue contributed a lot. No doubt about this. And in many ways can be construed to be a leader. So can a lot of Aboriginal People. And in a lot of ways they were or are leaders. No doubt about this. Now with all this talk about elected bodies on the Federal governments agenda. It's back to Elected Reps as opposed to Self, Media or Government appointed. And at this stage and point in time I don't think that Lois has demonstrated that she has the right or authority to commit us, the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia to this Agenda. And she and others, should cease this Misleading Practice. To: Lowitja O’donoghue. From: Arthur Bell.

What value is a one-eyed Academic? Also, we have enough, and we have had enough of,so called Leaders I’m Aboriginal and I don’t want them speaking on my behalf. ( a comment to Lois via fax on Let's Talk. wasn't passed on !! as usual !! ) Tiga has to be Sacked !!!!

I tried to contact and talk to Les Malezer when he was on the “ Let's Talk “ segment on Murri Country Radio ( AAA ) on at least two (2) occasions re. his Misrepresentations on the world stage, But neither him nor Tiga would take my call. So he is Aware of, and Party To, the Forced Censorship perpetrated by Tiga on the Aboriginal and general audience.

As far as I know and expect. any presentations by Les to the UN and reps, for instance, James Anaya, would be one continuous condemnation and bad-mouthing of Australia. And our society.

Les would have had to present something special to compete with all them other Countries including the African ones for any attention let alone special. To motivate a visit from someone of the stature of Anaya.

Whatever he told them, it certainly wouldn't be a balanced account !! Fifty thousand dollars ( $50.000 ) for Condemning Our Country on the world stage!! As they say, Good Work If You Can Get It !!

Les would naturally, have had to present, and be accepted, as being some sort of authority or representative of the Aboriginal and Islander People of Australia.

This would have been achieved a few years ago when FAIRA was a big and ongoing concern. And publishing a newspaper.

Anyone ( including overseas visitors ) walking into FAIRA at Balaclava St. would have certainly been impressed. Anyone not really tuned in to Aboriginal politics for instance could, would, have assumed that FAIRA must represent the Aboriginal People of ( at least ) Brisbane !! And even Australia !! This view would have been encouraged. With Les, even then, traveling overseas to the UN. In his role as Self Appointed Ambassador.

Les Malezer does not represent me in any way. I don't know any black fella that ever said that he did. Or asked them if he could or did.

Les in his misguided and one dimensional agendas ( he's not the only one ! ) invite Unwanted and even Dangerous Outside Interference **(do they care? Consider or discuss this?) in issues that We, the Australian People must Resolve !! And, In House.

** The answer is simply, No!! Les Malezer, Like a Lot of others, seek to PUNISH !! He has No Interest or Concern in Solutions to Our Problems and wouldn't even know what they are. Just blame the government, Anglo Aussies, dispossession, colonisation etc. etc. Historical Naval Gazing and the Romanticism of the Past.

This Continuous Bad Mouthing of My, Our, Country is Not what I, for one, Want !! And to see passed on to our Great, Great, Great Grandchildren !!

I Demand that He and Others, Cease this Practice !!

Aboriginal People Ignore and even Oppose most of the Aboriginal Elite and their Social Engineering, and Misguided Agendas !! This is why most Aboriginal People do not, and will not, engage in most Government funded Indigenous community initiatives and even general community meetings. Most will not have anything to do with Aboriginal politics including voting. ( The poor turnout at ATSIC elections ) And how they ( Les Malezer and others, the AE ) get away unchallenged, with so much !! Even on the World Stage !!

There is No Doubt the Vast Majority of Aboriginal and Islander People are Not Party To or Aware Of what Les Malezer and others get up to ( and on our behalf ! ) when they Attend and Speak at Meetings and Forums Overseas !!

You see, when an Aboriginal person becomes involved in ( the passion of ) Aboriginal politics it can become an obsession. There is so much scope and material to work with !! People coming up with so many un-thought of angles !! And the Money and travel !! A lifestyle that many find hard if not Impossible to give up or surrender !! This is where Les Malezer is coming from as well !!

It is an ongoing contentious issue with the Kanakas, that they were dragged over here and suffered because the Aboriginals wouldn't do the work.

On one hand the AVI supports advocates and encourages cultural appropriateness, like back to home-lands, with semi-traditional life-styles and values, Another section advocating that Aboriginal people Quantum Leap into present day society and values !! What we have is, Total and Utter Confusion !!

A significant and critical factor deliberately being ignored, and even Taboo is the issue of People of Mixed Blood i.e. Half and Quarter Cast. Aboriginal people of a mixed blood heritage are Certainly more Prominent and or Successful than the more Traditional type, or, people seen to be or described as Full-blood. Or close to. Successful Integration is a factor.

A yella-fella is less visible and therefor would integrate more successfully. To the average Anglo-Aussie someone seen to be of a similar heritage and more acceptable.

We don't even have to try to compete. With an in-built and convenient get-out clause or mechanism. Not only available but encouraged !! Just play Jacky-Jacky and it is acceptable to Blame Any or Everyone !! The government, white society, racism, Colonisation and Dispossession. This is acceptable in Aboriginal society and of course, the AVI will always be there in Support !!

even from their parents, uncles aunts and older siblings. Generations. With a conditioned, Blame Apportioning Mindset and Mentality. !!

**Anglo-Aussie is what I will use from now on instead of White-fella. And Aboriginal-Aussie instead of Black-fella. Yes, I will set Another Precedent. And Lead the Way. As I am also determined. Determined to effect a Reconciliation and to build Bridges. Again Still and As Well !! *** We certainly have an Image Problem !!

Forever Victims (2)

It is extremely doubtful that the rest of the world including the, Black Societies, could ever take us seriously. ( not that they ever have ) Our perceived focus and acceptance of an existence as Victims. Courtesy of, and now the Responsibility of, the Entrenched and seemingly, Overwhelming, Aboriginal Victim Industry. Racism, Colour Prejudice, Stolen Wages, Stolen Generations, Native Title, Over Representation in the Criminal Justice System, (including jails) in the Children s Welfare Courts In the Health System, No Employment , No C.D.E.P. and if that's not enough, Those of us that drink, do so to drown out and to insulate ourselves from the social environment and circumstances that have been forced upon us. And to anaesthetise ourselves against the results of Colonisation and Dispossession. And we have become alcoholics because of this. According to the A.V.I. We are Still the Most Disadvantaged Society in Australia, with Many Living in Absolute Poverty, Suffering from Intergenerational Everything !! Even after Literally, Hundreds of Millions even Billions of Dollars over the last thirty (30) years, Invested In, Spent On, Thrown At, Distributed, Allocated To, what Could, Would, Should, May, be Referred To As, Aboriginal Problems or Aboriginal Issues !! via, Aboriginal Legal Services, Child Care Centres, Health Services, Education Initiatives at Universities, TAFE and their over-loaded and bursting at the seams Indigenous Units, Primary School Teachers, Teachers Aides, Aboriginal Hostels, Housing all over the Country, Cultural Heritage, Native Title, Rehabilitation Clinics....to be continued (a.l.b.)

The people and the agendas that have for so long kept our peoples attention focused on the past and for so long as victims, has left us almost totally incapable of not only comprehending what is happening, but seemingly unable, to offer anything constructive to any universal issue. Would aboriginal input be acceptable or even welcome? Is there any one single individual as a genuine rep for aboriginal Australia with a view or perception of not only what's happening in this country but not as victim or industry rep. who can project or present sufficient authority to be able to?So we the descendants of the original (?)occupants of this country are expected to continue the Aboriginal struggle and not be to concerned by the catastrophe that is erupting around us after being kept out of touch with developments in this country with the one dimensional agendas, now could all be rendered irrelevant as the country now has to shift all focus and priories on the present problems and crises, and seek a solution. the mentality and culture of blame apportioning must be in this instance be not only discarded but condemned as an impediment and obstruction to objective discussion and debate and to our authority and participation not as victims, this retreat into the past and refusal to let go agenda's No awareness of world affairs and how they affect us and our great grandchildren The agenda Seeks to not only to suppress but also to subjugate the indigenous voice other than as victims, but to enslave and our g.g.g..grandchildren by setting in motion issues that they ensure are not only irresolvable but also unsolvable.

Rudely dragged into the present with its crises from the past where we can no longer dwell and emphasis the importance of the ability to deal with now and the future

The people that purport to speak for us on the world stage fail to mention or and misrepresent their position by omission they are self appointed and have no mandate and, or right to. The precedent has been set re the wrongful sale and

Loss of properties still legally and rightfully owned by A.T.S.I.C.

Investigation and public disclosure is required into all assets and debts.

Starting from the dismantling of A.D.C. onward

We are the walking wounded, mentally wounded forever victims, victims of if nothing else, dispossession and or colonisation so there is no way out of eternal victim-hood and they will not let us out as the purported spokespeople would have consistently and persisting to put themselves forward as spokespersons for the A&I People of Australia and condemning and damming us forever. They must accept responsibility for a lot of the A&I social issues in this Country,

The agendas of so called leaders and their supporters would have us back in lap laps eating possums and goanna totally out of touch with what's happening in the present world and with no real control of our destiny of future.
These hidden agendas?
An education system that produces O.E.A.s aspiring to employment and financial security in the victim industry.
Even they have no comprehension or understanding of the problems in this Country
Their agendas illustrate this. They have No Right to presume to, and No Right to pretend to, talk or to speak on behalf of, or as an elected representative of, the A&I people of Australia other than themselves!
For to long people have been wrongly assumed to speak on behalf of the A&I people, They should cease this activity on the world stage or at any forum or reveal that they are not the chosen or elected officials of the A&I people of Australia, and in fact, they are in the main, self appointed,
I for one categorically deny that they have ever had my permission or agreement to represent my views or speak on my behalf, EVER. Also I don’t know, or have ever heard of, anyone that has.

Well intentioned? Now these people may be, may have been well, good intentioned, But unfortunately The road to disaster is strewn with Good Intentions. Good Intention without Good and Accurate Guidance can be as dangerous as a D9 Bulldozer without a driver, and can cause massive damage !! And a disaster !! Perpetuate the stereotype of us as victims. ( Jacky Jacky ?)

Aboriginal and Islander Organisations.(4)

Stuart Rintoul. The Australian, December 17, 2007. Apology 'must say removals were evil'

Ms King said the alliance would meet next month to work on a draft apology to put to the Government. Ms O'Donoghue said peak Aboriginal organisations should be bought into discussions about the apology. This also is CRAP. It also highlights Ms O'Donoghue's ignorance in this area!!!!

The forced removals of our children from their families, a policy which was practised through most of the twentieth century, had a devastating effect on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander society. As the Bringing Them Home report states, not one Indigenous family has escaped its impact. So the process of recovery should be a top priority for the nation. Where there has been a response – for example, Link- Up services – the funding is drastically inadequate to meet the need. The wonderful dedicated workers of these services as with so many workers in Aboriginal services, buckle under the load....

BullShit !! Many wouldn't give the time of day if they weren't getting a good wage !! Most up here in Brisbane are recycled from other A&I organisations Indigenous Identified Positions. This makes it hard for anyone outside this circle ( clique ) to get a job !! These people are commonly referred to as, ( wait for it ! ) “Uptown Niggers” The In Crowd !!

These people that seek to Confirm and to Perpetuate the Victim Status and Mentality of Aboriginal and Islander people are aiders and abettors of the Blatant Maladministration and Mismanagement in Aboriginal and Islander Organisations and the Abuse of Employment positions and criminal activities such as the Stealing of food, cleaning products and Drug Dealing Prevalent in many Aboriginal and Islander Organisation Services in Brisbane. This also high-lights the Continuing Failures of the various Government Departments and Agencies that continue to fund this Circus of Aboriginal and Islander Organisation Services Without Proper, Due Care and Attention

Workshop on the rights of Indigenous Peoples. Posted 6/4/2011 by Les Malezer.

Quote:>>“Please note that this workshop is happening in April to ensure that strategic information is available before the “next session of the UN Permanent Forum” on Indigenous Issues, and to coincide with Australia’s response to the UN Human Rights Council on the Universal Periodic Review of Australia”<<Unquote:

This is the “real” agenda. These, “Around”, and “Out of This World” and “Over To Geneva Trips” It's not about Aboriginal Rights. Though on the surface Les certainly “seems” to be “involved” in it. UN participation has delivered Les Malezer a “Luxurious Lifestyle” including, “Unlimited overseas Travel”. Stuff that he would normal, only be able to “Dream” and to “Fantasise”about. And it's very hard to give up. !! I can understand this !! Les Malezer, like many of the early, “Social Justice Warriors” done a lot of good. But it is Time for them to “Move On” They have become “punch-drunk” All they want to do is Fight !! and Attack !! They know Nothing Else !! This continuous Bad-Mouthing of Australia and Our Society is “No Answer” !! Aboriginal Rights ? Les, “We Know What Our Rights Are” !! CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND THIS !!?? All you are doing is Making it Worse for ALL Australians !!

LES, STOP TRYING TO FORCE AND TO IMPOSE YOUR PERSONAL AGENDAS ON ALL US OTHER BLACK-FELLAS !! WE DON'T WANT THEM !! WE “CAN” AND “WILL” SOLVE OUR OWN PROBLEMS.AND IN-HOUSE. AND “WITHOUT YOU” !! SO STOP DELUDING YOURSELF AND “MOVE ON" !! ( Arthur Bell )

Quote: >>“Workshop sessions will be led by experts”<< Unquote”

Experts ? Self appointed !! This is what these people do. Appoint Themselves and Each-other !! And unfortunately ( for us ! ) they get away with it. Mainly because the vast majority of Aboriginal People don't engage with or follow politics in general and Aboriginal politics in particular. The first because of the demographics and we can only ever “just make up the numbers” ( it has all been discussed and identified many times before ) And the later ? Well for one, the control ( of Services etc. and the money ) and the involvement is only ever these, self-appointed, Government and Media Appointed Spokespeople, Experts and Negotiators. The Aboriginal Elite. Including many Aboriginal Academics. And so-called Leaders. Leaders of no-one. Many ex ATSIC. “Experts” in Accessing Government Money !! And they support each other. Mick Gooda ? don't know what he's an expert on. Megan Davis ? Another government appointee. Les Malezer ? an Expert and Serial, Self-Appointee !! Spokesperson, Negotiator, Representative you name it he's Appointed Himself ! ( he's good ! And tricky ! Very Tricky !! ) And with a gift of $50,000 from FAHCSIA not long back, and ya ( don't ) wonder why !! ( Arthur Bell )

Malnutrition ? Aboriginal People are of a “Fatalistic” nature and attitude and will continue to over-represent in hospitals and on to funerals.

The two main substances of abuse, Alcohol and Marijuana are different in the sense that one is Empowerment the other Escapism. Both can and are frequently used to compliment each other the same as the prescription drugs that are referred to as “Uppers” and “Downers”

These university educations, sure you can make some money with them. But if there is no “work ethic” instilled by parents, and over years,

$2.6billion spent on Aboriginal Affairs each year. $40million in administration alone. With no improvement. NSW.Auditor-General Peter Achter-straat. ( Australian. 19/5/2011 )

“National Congress of Australians First Peoples”.

And, The New “Mission Manager “Unfortunately, as has been suggested, there is no chance of Les Malezer stepping down. Unfortunately for the rest of Australia that is. He has grasped the one hundred and six ( 106 ) votes ( out of 562,000 indigenous ) he received with both hands. And He Won't Let Go !! He is now, even more of a Danger and a Menace to our society and way of life. With his continuous Bad-Mouthing and Condemnation of this Country on the world stage. An “Open Invite” to Influence and Interference from “Hostile” and “Malevolent” forces. People that will Destroy our way of life and even our Country. With no Compunction or Hesitation Whatsoever ! This will now increase from the “Co-chair” of “National Congress of Australians First Peoples”. Being co-chair will give him the legitimacy he craves and up to now, has lacked. Les will no doubt have his travel arrangements to Geneva finalised and will be rubbing his hands with glee. Les is a one- dimensional professional “Aboriginal Agitator” and “Activist”. And has “No Answers” to our problems other than, Blame the “Government, Colonisation, Dispossession” If that’s not enough, blame Anglo ( white ) society. And like a lot of his ilk seek not justice but Revenge. And as usual, he will continue to seek to force and to impose his “Misguided” and “Out of Touch” Agendas, on the rest of us, regardless of what we want. As with this “Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples” ! Now this was alright a few years ago, in the sixties and seventies. When Aboriginal People were blatantly getting a Raw Deal and being ripped off and being taken advantage of. For Sure ! But yes, We have Moved On. And things have certainly improved for us. With much more opportunity, in all spheres. What Les Malezer and co. ( he's not alone ) are doing, mostly in their ignorance, is, Promoting, Confirming and Perpetuating the “Victim Status and Mentality” of Aboriginal People. Disempowerment. We can “Never Move On” They refuse to allow us to. And to upset the status quo. The Aboriginal Victim Industry ( AVI ), is “Big Money” and the Congress ? as big a "Rort” as any so far conceived ! Les Malezer will make sure he gets a good wage and travel allowance with expenses in his ongoing crusade to “Attack” and to “Punish” White Australia in his misguided quest for Revenge. It is surprising that what happened to Osama bin Laden hasn't already happened to Les Malezer. He's “Dangerous” in his Obstinate “Stupidity” and “Ignorance”!!This "New Set of Rules", this "Declaration", the “Aboriginal Elite” or, "Neo- Mission Managers”, are seeking to Force and to Impose it upon, not only us "Other Black-fellas", but the “Whole Country” !!

More of Les Malazer's out of touch and misguided leftist agendas which privileges "rights" gesture politics, symbolism and bridge walks above well-being. Agendas with a "let them eat cake" touch about them. Or “the natives are simply not smart or sophisticated enough to know what is right for them. Once upon a time this was the role of the patrol officers, now it's the turn of the city slicker Aborigines with an axe to grind”. ( Marcia Langton )

The key to rights is identifying the circumstances in which they can be limited and extending them to all people equally, while maintaining a distinction between the innocent and wretched. Civil libertarians ( Aboriginal Victim Industry “ AVI “ aka activists and agitators ) dish out rights to the guilty and innocent alike and suffer from moral short-sightedness. They focus only on the immediate person, as opposed to wider consequences and the likely effect of policies on other individuals”

Arthur Bell.

“it was stridently anti-intervention, for example - but it was a real newspaper”

It was never a “real newspaper”. With Chris Graham being made aware of many corruption issues in Aboriginal organisations in Brisbane including drug dealing. He was made aware of the issue of “obtaining money under false pretences” accusations levelled at his “mate” Tiga Bayles, general manager of 98.9 fm. Radio here in Brisbane, by me on my website. He was “not” interested. Nor is the present editor Stephen Hagan. The whole of the established media is nothing more than a “joke” and a “rort” With nothing to offer other than, blame the government/white-society and featuring “feel-good” articles. For more info on these issues and others visit www.whitc.info/

The “plagiarism” and lack of by-lines? Just another case of “misrepresentation” by “omission” practised by the Indigenous media. It seems that Stephen Hagan has used the “Jacky-Jacky” defence, “I know Nothing” boss ! As it has been pointed out that normally, one would expect his resignation.

I must admit, and have been told, that I have a habit of self-depreciating my talents and qualifications and this could be the problem. Briefly, to reassure business wise, where will I start, well, between 1976 and 80, I was involved with “Nindabya” a drop-in center in Gertude St. Fitzroy teaching arts and crafts. And helped run the place along with Sharon Firebrace and Jan Chesells. Between 82 and 84 I ran the biggest Indigenous specific Rehabilitation clinic ( Jodaro ) in Australia ! As “senior” Drug and alcohol rehabilitation Counsellor ( assistant administrator ) and had to organise the roster for 8 to 10 counsellors and a welfare officer and “run the place” ! And I had no problem doing this. Colin Terare was the administrator at the time. Then in the mid 80s up to the mid 90s I ran my own ( independently and informally ) businesses, employing mainly, Blackfellas on the north coast of NSW. Suppling a landscape gardener with fallen ( after storms, legally ) staghorns, elkhorns and some ferns. I had (owned) 4x4s and used to drive into the thickest rainforest up the steepest mountains and down the deepest gullies and ravines to look for old overgrown timber-mills to get the off-cuts to sell to local builders. I had to know what I was doing to be able to get my workers to trust me, and in and out of some very dicey and even dangerous situations, and to ensure their safety in places where it is easy to get lost and hurt. I had the best equipment including two-way radios hooked up to central control in the 4x4. I was known and acknowledged to be the best equipped and organised, in this field and area ! And I had to feed them. I had to lead by example, even to do the work. And had to be firm and decisive. This had to apply even when I had to get some very slack and lazy Blackfellas out of their houses and even, beds ! To get them to finish the job and to earn the wages that I had already mostly paid them ! I wouldn't put up with their women coming out to the door with, “oh he's sick” or, “his foot is sore” ! No, I'm more the, “he'd better be ready when I get back or I'll go in there and Fucken drag him out” ! Type ! This from someone 5 foot 6 and about (then) 10 stone ! So, I'm a very serious and committed bloke ! People that (I let) get to know me soon realise this. I organised, motivated, encouraged and inspired many Blackfellas to get involved in a variety of enterprises ( legal ones as well ! ) over the years, to many to go into here. In 96 I created and ran as National Director, The “Indigenous Peoples Congress” or IPC. In 1999 in Brisbane I created and ran from home on the dole and all by myself, “Drug an Alcohol Rehabilitation Support” or DARS. Mainly a referral service and with the computer I bought (out of my dole) I wrote court reports and referrals for accommodation and food, mostly for Blackfellas but not all. And still do ( but not much anymore because of illness in 06 COPD ) I also used to accommodate some very irresponsible people ( again mostly Blackfellas but not all ) from the streets, and had to deal with and control them ! Over the years I have had to deal with many public servants in numerous government institutions. Generally on behalf of others or, people that were, are, my clients, starting from “Jodaro” but continuing up to the present. In 85 I was employed with the then, “Commonwealth Education” in Warf St. Brisbane, as ALO, processing Abstudy applications. So I have public service knowledge and experience from the “other-side” of the counter as well. But enough for now ! ( this is a bloody heap of stuff I’ve just done here ! Only a two fingered typist that left school in 1962 ! Self-Educated and Self-Taught ! ) I started at 11 just after I got Anthony’s email re the quote. Tony and Joe, I hope this goes really well and I am going to give it a massive go and invest maximum and full time, effort and focus into making it happen. Tony, I reiterate that it is vital that you get involved, even if only initially. Just to get it kicked off. There's Major issues and events occurring right now that need to be dealt with and impacted on. And this site will have input, this is why it needs to be urgently up and running ASAP. I hope you will see things this way Tony and agree to get involved this way with you as part owner, if only at first and for a short while. Then you could get back into your forte, full-time, writing good articles ! With Joe ! So will I, but I will also be, operating our site. And to do it successfully, I would have to be involved in the setting up of the site. Every nut screw and bolt, so to speak. I propose to continue negotiate and work with Joshi and previous quote, to build the site, as we had discussed previously and with the “indymedia” site structure, and structure only, as the model. The operations and policies of “indymedia” is of passing interest only. Tony, Brother, Let me organise it with Joshi.Trust me. I have full confidence that I could handle it. Plus it is better that one person handle it, at least at this stage, so it may well as be me as I would be running the site, at least at first. And it saves a lot of confusion and crossed wires etc. Tony, I sincerely believe I could set it up to how it needs to be. And again, I sincerely hope that you would see and agree to this direction.

Full- Blood to indicate, ( full-black? ) Traditional Aboriginal. Half-cast or Yellow-Fella is a term commonly used to describe ( in conversation ) someone obviously of Aboriginal heritage ( has Aboriginal blood ) but has fair skin. A colour or hue that may occur or be expected to if one parent was of traditional Aboriginal type and the other Anglo Saxon. Myall, is a derogatory term used mainly by Aboriginal People to describe unsophisticated or backward Aboriginals ( from the bush? ) Up-Town Niggers ? I'm not sure where or how this term originated. But used Freely and Frequently in Aboriginal society to describe other Black-fellas seen to better off and or privileged.

I have to draw a distinction within the Aboriginal Victim Industry ( AVI ) and Identify the Aboriginal Elite ( AE ) Aboriginal bureaucracy run the organisation services. Management and Administration including Boards. The Aboriginal Elite ( AE ) are the Prominent Spokespeople and so called, Leaders. A lot are Academics. Aka, Social Engineers. Many present as board members of A&I and associated Organisations. Good money ( sitting fees ) for attending board meetings. Most Pass each other like, Ships in the Night, and do not meet or fraternise. Except at some ( free ) conference or meeting that someone thought (up) would be a Good Idea. At a Resort or Conference Centre. All contribute as the AVI.

^Dad and Dave & Jacky Jacky & the Boss = only Aboriginal and Anglo Aussies. tbc = to be continued. wip= work in progress.

Jacky-Jacky !! Who is this Bloke ? Who is Uncle Tom ? Who are the Up-Town Niggers ? ( alb )

There is a clash of one Productive and Progressive Culture and Traditions and one Non-Productive and Non-Progressive Culture and Traditions. One that sought to Produce and to Progress. One that was content to Continue to as it was. And Without Interruption would have been much the same today. Aboriginal peoples existed with absolute minimum possessions. With no need or desire for anything more. What's happening today is simply a continuation of this. This reasoning by Generation One that Aboriginal People aspire to the same as Anglo and Other Australians is “Flawed” We would certainly desire accept and even expect what they have. But for us to outlay and to expend the time and effort to obtain them seems, Not Culturally Appropriate. And with all the benefits available including $250 a week on the Dole ( and no work ethic ) there is no real reason for Aboriginal youth to seek employment. It is much easier to just play Jacky-Jacky and act dumb. Aboriginal People have been playing this game for many years. And it has now progressed to the stage where this is what's expected of us. And it Suits Everyone. And all the Colourful Language ( Twiggy's phrase ) in the world by Andrew Forrest or Tania Major, will not change this. ( alb )

Forever Victims (3)

It would seem that we are living in a rut of our own making. Dug ourselves into a hole and Alienated ourselves. We seem to be blind to everything else that is happening in this world. Oblivious to every thing but our own historical navel gazing and living in the romanticism of the past. Or just plain, Living in ignorance. This continuous blaming of everything from A to Z on Everything and Everyone else is becoming a Sickening Monotony. It produced limited results in the past. Even though we have moved on, no one seems to want to let go. Like adolescents that won't let go of the tit. The youth are aware of this Entrenched and Flourishing Blame Apportioning Mentality and Culture. And grasp it with both hands. The example and precedent having been set by those that have gone before them. Including their parents. And with No Work Ethic or Sense of Responsibility. And so this focus and massive push for education becomes no more that a meaningless but very expensive exercise. With, not millions, but Billions of Dollars down the drain. And to the detriment of other children. These so called Indigenous Education Experts (hi Chris!) Black one eyed Academics or, One dimensional Aboriginal Academics. ( alb )

Philip the Black African, Valley drone calls mixed blood Abs, White Cunts ! ( he is black ! ) Even though BoeAs sounds better than OdAAs some times black-fella or black is better suited or more appropriate. Common usage yes, but there is in fact a significant social and economic divide between a so called, full-blood and a green eyed “high-yella”.

To be serious about so called, Aboriginal Advancement, All Legislation and Policies based on Race will Have to be Consigned to the Bureaucratic Rubbish Bin. They just “Don't Work”. Billions of dollars in this area so far. Yet according to the AVI we are, Still the Most Disadvantaged. This continuous Blame Game

( + I know Coco, and I am also familiar with members of his Family. Nice People too. I think Coco was in a situation, trying to help Blackfellas but going about it the Wrong way. I did hear that he had some just out of Jail staying with him and trying to help them with employment. But it never worked out and they, maybe dragged him down a bit ( as is common ) and he gave up in that area. I think he has his own Demolition Business and Not Gubberment Funded ! ( A Cunnamulla Fulla !? )

I must admit that I am not exactly a stranger to the Bayles Family. I lived on the North Coast of NSW for a few years 86—96 and knew John and Sue Bayles quite well and visited them at their house just outside of Nimbin many times ( next to the Snake Pit ! ). Even slept there on occasion. I even had a hand in naming Baby Jedda ! I used to go to Sydney three or four times a year and drop around to see his other Brother Mick and his daughter Minya ! I was one of the very few people that knew what Minya meant ! ( small or, little. I used call her Minya Mimini, as in little girl. SA. ) I used to see their Lovely Mother there with the Jewellery she used to make, porcupine quills decorated with real Gold. First time I saw it that way. Also at 88 Elizabeth Street Waterloo. My Aunt had a flat at Lenton Parade Waterloo, where I used to stay when I used to visit her. Usually three or four times a year from maybe, Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Nanbucca Heads or even Kempsey. I met Philip a couple of times up here in Brisbane.

First, the need for the Intervention has not been undermined by the flaws in its implementation. The circumstances which gave rise to the need for the Intervention were extreme and as such some action was warranted. As far as I am aware no other community in Australia is subject to the type of circumstances that have been raised in relation to remote and rural Indigenous communities. Even allowing for the fact that not every Indigenous community in the affected area is the same, the weight of evidence in 2007 suggested the need for an intervention. That the Intervention may have been poorly managed by the Rudd-Gillard Government does not invalidate the need for the Intervention in the first instance. It is wrong to conflate the need for a particular policy with the problems raised by the poor execution of a policy.

It is worth bearing in mind that every policy solution, designed to combat a particular problem, will have unintended or unforeseen consequences. This is the reality of applying public policy programs in a dynamic environment made up of numerous individuals and stakeholders. The skill is to monitor the implementation of the program and to identify problems and to respond to them.

Given the poor handling of the ‘Education’ Revolution and the Insulation scheme it is not entirely surprising that the Government’s handling of a complex problem like the Intervention has been imperfect.

Second, placing a fetter on the use of welfare money through the Basics Card is not inappropriate. Welfare money is not individual income in the normal sense of the word. Welfare monies are funds provided by the entire community through the Government to those individuals who are in need. The notion of a social contract informs this process wherein the community is willing to subsidise an individual during a period in which they are unable to obtain a sustainable income on their own. It is not inappropriate that constraints might be placed on the manner in which welfare monies are spent by their recipients. Spending welfare money on alcohol is likely to be inconsistent with the public purpose that lies behind providing that money.

ANTaR (1)

Aboriginal issues have more of an impact on voting results than most polies realise. A lot of people that pay taxes are aware of the (increasing) financial dependence on the public purse with future probable stolen generations claims, re the precedent set in S.A and Tasmania recently, not to forget the stolen wages campaign. These alone will cost the people untold millions ( billions?) of dollars over generations. And the way the campaign is run, with *Ros Kidd and A.N.T.A.R along with their Indigenous Advisers, these issues can (will?) Never Be Resolved, Ever !! With No Problem Solved !! ( So, Justice Didn't Work! What do we do now? Who do we blame ? ) The delivery of an outcome putting 4 and 7 thousand dollars in the hands of four thousand A&I people in Queensland via the state government stolen wages fund a couple of years back is heady stuff ! Now they have the, Bit Between Their Teeth !! so to speak! Not to mention, their Heads in the Clouds ! ( the Pie in the Sky, or, Cargo Cult Mentality, they Cultivate and Inspire ! ) and they will no doubt, Again, be Urging and Coercing members of the A&I community, talking 100s of thousands of dollars to Apply !! Or mainly, Re-apply. *( Typical academic, in their quest for literary fame and immortality. On the Backs of Blacks so to speak? Another Daisy Bates !? ( c. 3/2007 alb. )

ANTaR (2)

The, Inaugural, ANTaR Queensland Close the Gap Indigenous Health Award.

To suggest that Dr. Noel Hayman has “greatly improved the access to primary health care of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders in Inala" is,TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS ! Not to mention, COMPLETELY WRONG !! He may have, * “Found successful ways to increase the attendance of Indigenous people at the Inala Community Health Centre” Historically Inala is a thriving and close knit Community. And the Indigenous People have Always had access to "Primary Health Care!”. And have, Never had any problems accessing Doctors Services ( *free Viagra would have helped this ! c. 11/2007 edited. alb. )

ANTaR (3)

Finally got to get on " Let's Talk " Today, 19/12/09. Tiga didn't like it At All ! And he would have had his finger on the kill switch ! My aunt, Ruth Hegarty, a community activist and elder, was a guest. This is why he very reluctantly let me on ! ( Aunt Ruth was aware of this forced censorship issue ) The discussion was about Stolen Wages, Loss of Freedom, People Starving in the Dormitories in Cherbourg. Us being surrounded by Barbed Wire, Systemic Abuse and Starving ! According to The Expert, Ros Kidd. I made the point , that I spent time in the Boy's Dormitory in Cherbourg, in 1962, Three (3) months as punishment. My Aunt said that being there for punishment, we were treated differently. (not true) I was Very Aware, of what was happening in the Boy's Dormitory ! Growing up and going to school, I visited and passed through the said, Boys Dormitory many times over years ! And as far as I can recall, and to my knowledge, Chinny and Aunt Nellie or Aunt Maude Phillips Did Not, and, Would Not, have let, or, Stood By, while Any of their charges, were Starved, or Abused ! To suggest this Happened, is An Insult to the Memories and Achievements of these People and Ros Kidd Should Concede Her Ignorance and Apologise. And along with ANTaR, get out of this debate ! ( alb )

ANTaR (4)

ANTaR is a Fraud ! These people and the hidden agendas that seek to keep the focus of Aboriginal People on the past. They would have us Aboriginals sitting around camp-fires talking about porcupines and possums and telling stories of Dream Time while the rest of Australia ( including the refugees ) and the world marches on ! ( alb )

ANTaR (5)

There are a lot of Good and Well Intentioned Australians in and involved with ANTaR. There is Absolutely No Doubt about this. And the Founding Principles, Work and Agenda is to be Respected and Admired. ( I shared resources with them in the early years. At ANTaR headquarters in South Brisbane . And had occasion to observe and to gauge. As to be expected with a Student of Human Nature and Passionate Observer ( objective of course ! ) As I have been declared to be ! ) But as they say, The Road to Hell is, Paved With Good Intentions ! ANTaR has evolved into and is now, Little more than a Platform for the Aboriginal Elite ( AVI ) Some Strong-Willed and Experienced Campaigners ! People that seek Not to Solve Problems. But to Punish White Society ! Unfortunately ANTaR and others Fail to Recognise and to Understand This Issue. And it's Implications ! Blinded by Success ? Reading to much of their Own Publicity ? To Much of the Mutual Admiration and Backslapping Society Syndrome ? Whatever it is, to Theorise and to Act Outside the Square ( Quantum-Leap ? ) would now be an Impossibility. For ANTaR. As it is.

As I see it, ANTaR is now not only a Hindrance, but an Obstacle to Reconciliation. ( alb 16/8/2010 )

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THIS COUNTRY

Issues including the Treaty, the Native Title Act. The so-called Aboriginal or Victim Industry, What is it ? What is Political correctness? Does it work ? For whom? Misrepresentation by Omission and the people who talk locally and on the world stage as ( self ) presumed reps for us. How and Why they mislead. For to long people ( mainly Aboriginal, but no-one anywhere near full-blood, ever notice this ? ) have been wrongly presumed to speak with the authority of, the A&I People of Australia. Even by the United Nations ! They should Cease this activity on the world stage or at any forum and reveal, that they have not consulted with, and are not the chosen or elected representatives of the Aboriginal and Islander People of Australia. and in fact are self appointed. With personal agendas and issues. that they drag us all into without asking, or even telling us ! Self appointed Social-Justice Fighters. Self-presumed Guardians and Custodians of Aboriginal Rights and Interests in this Country.
Welcome to the fascinating world of Government Funding ! Where dreams can come true and to fruition via the “Gubberment Grant” ! Exaggeration and Overstating will fast-track a financial outcome ! ( read Government Funds and Funding Submission Experts ! ) Including senior public servants that so readily accept the mantle of Authorities and Spokespeople on our behalf.
Street-people and the paint sniffers, what they do and why. Police Liaison Officers ( what a big joke these people are ! ) and Diversionary Centres, a flawed concept and failed experiment. Why they have to be abolished and or replaced. ( c.6/2007 alb. )

The Agenda is pursued, not by The People, but mainly, by a hand-full of misguided moral postures. Including, Aboriginal advisers. Offering no more than eternal victim hood where they can continue to deliver some limited outcomes ( financial, with no problems solved ) to continue and to maintain their personal profile and lifestyle ! Promoting the ( publics ) view of Aboriginal Hypocrites that take money (under the table?) from the people that they criticise and condemn, even on the world stage. All mainly very fair skinned people, that would have had a lot more opportunity and would not have lived under remote communities conditions. **And if they did, would have been candidates to be removed for their own protection. This is where many racists reside! Not the White- Fella ! the Yella- Fella ! He does all the talking for his Full-Blood Brother ! And he don't even like him ! Cause he's, Tooooo Blaaaaak ! A case of , You Didn't Choose Your Relations !? Check out All the prominent and successful, Aboriginal Leaders, Spokespeople, Academics, Public Servants on the scale of, If you're White you're Right, If you're Brown hang round, If you're Black get back ! Is this Colour Prejudice ? A lot operate ( and receive money ) under the banner of Reconciliation or Christianity, quote Martin Luther King, but pursue Alabama's George Wallace's, “Segregation now, Segregation Tomorrow, Segregation Forever” !

**This no reflection on the Character, Good Intention and Dedication of these people. But it was a fact that the mothers of fair skinned offspring were in a lot of instances if not ostracised, derided and condemned for their liaison with a white man ( Shaaame! ) The child was an embarrassment. And as a consequence suffered through negligence. And was abused and fair game. Especially females. And as Slim Dusty said, It was a relief to all, when he left town ! In a sense. ( 2007 alb )

WHO'S RESPONSIBILITY ? (1)

Gross Maladministration Mismanagement and Incompetence has resulted in the Loss of Valuable Aboriginal and Islander Property and the Collapse of Essential Community Services, vital to the Aboriginal and Islander and the wider Community of inner-city Brisbane. The organisations being, Musgrave Park Aboriginal Corporation and Murri Mura Aboriginal Corporation. This Further Damage to the Community Confidence in Aboriginal and Islander organisations and services Demands an Official Investigation into the Circumstances leading to the Present Situation of these organisations and the State of Affairs of All Aboriginal and Islander Organisation Services in inner-city Brisbane to determine the Potential or the Existence of Maladministration or Mismanagement in these organisations for Avoidance of the Same in the Future! ( alb c. 6/2003 )

WHO'S RESPONSIBILITY ? (2)

Meeanjin Treatment Association Inc. 188-190 Brunswick Street Fortitude Valley. This organisation consumes $10,000 a month. Mainly in wages !! The people that this service was set up to deal with, Do Not and Will Not access it. We Demand that this organisation be Re-staffed or Closed and the Funds Diverted because it is a Waste of Aboriginal Money. As It Is !! ( alb c. 9/2005 ) This organisation has Now Been Closed. Due to Gross Mismanagement. One manager took off to a meeting in Canada and never came back to work !! After that, Money was being Misspent. ( alb )

WHO'S RESPONSIBILITY ? (3)

LINK-UP ( qld ) Cordelia St. South Brisbane

This Aboriginal and Islander Organisation has had an Administrator Appointed, due to Over-Spending by the Board. This Highlights the Continuing Failure of the Local so called, Aboriginal Leader-Ship and Spokespeople including the Indigenous Public Servants ( some senior) that Guide and Influence the Government Departments and agencies that Fund these Organisations and Services. These people are at best, Out Of Touch with and Ignorant of Occurring Events and Issues leading to the Continuing Failures and Losses of Aboriginal and Islander Organisation Services and Properties ( and the consequences of ) and at worst, they Aid and Abet numerous people involved with A&I organisations that are ( still ) known to Abuse and to Misuse their employment positions and responsibilities !! The Potential Loss of Link-Up plus the De funding and De registration of Numerous A&I organisation and services Demand an Official Investigation including a Complete Review of Funding Procedures and Priorities of the Federal and State Governments and Brisbane City Council. Lack of Accountability for Financial Mismanagement and Incompetence is a Major Contributing Factor that has Led to the Loss of A.T.S.I.C and other organisations. Government Funding Bodies continue to Blindly and Seemingly Deliberately Deal and Negotiate with Board-Members and Management not only Tainted from the loss of A&I organisation services, but some, Directly Responsible for them ( alb c. 3/2006 )

Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Alcohol Services

At “Jessy Budby Healing Centre ” in New Farm, a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Clinic run by QAIAS, there is a large turnover of clients because of cannabis use. Though they won't admit this. The fact is they have to take anyone in to fill the beds. Even if they are aware that a person ( regular client ) doesn't really want to, or will not, give up the grog. For further and continuing Funding !! To keep the Money coming in !! ( There is a lot on non-indigenous in the Indigenous specific ones for this reason ) Millions of dollars over many years with No Success !! Plenty of good wages !! But no one Cured !! If it was a Public, “Healing Centre “ ( clinic ) it would have been a candidate for closure years ago !!

Jessy Budby Healing Centre “ is Typical of Many Aboriginal and Islander organisation services. With the General (A&I) Public, Locked Out !! I have received a lot of Bad Reports from ex-clients and even current one's, and Counsellors about this Service over the years. ALL seem to have Issues ( problems? ) with The Administrator and His Attitude !! Conflict of Interest is, No Issue !! Directors employing themselves. Board Members voting themselves back in. Employees as members and voting the Same Board Back In ( continued employment ) The Administrator is a member and therefore gets to vote the Same Board Back In. And to Employ himself !! With a Gift of a Whopping, One and a half million dollars ( $1,560,000 ) last year ( 09 ) It's no wonder, They ain't gonna share this little Gold Mine with Anyone !!

Has the Australian Taxation Office endorsed the status of this corporation as a deductible gift recipient fund? Yes !!

Yigezu Ergetu is the Administrator. He is also the Secretary and Contact Person !! ( mail only ) Yigezu has been with QAIAS for over twenty five (25 ) years !! Administrator for twenty (20) !! I have been asked on Numerous Occasions, “ Why isn't an Aboriginal or Islander Person employed as Administrator “ As a Lot of Aboriginal People will Not, Re-Access this service. Because of the Current Administration. They also spread the word. And in turn, Dissuade Others !! And Sadly, Adding To the Crisis. With the “ Close the Gap “ initiatives, a lot of Emphasis and Discussion is on Rehabilitation and Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Services. A lot of Money is Available. But the Real Issue here is, and will be, the Performance(s) of Key Services like “ Jessy Buddy Healing Center “ The Problems here need to be Urgently Addressed !! ( alb 1/9/2010 )

Find some ex-clients and Listen to what They have to Say about Llewellyn St.

There's heaps down The Valley !!

I spoke to Lynn the Administrator's assistance to find out how long Yigezu Ergetu has been the Administrator. She told me that she, they, were Not Allowed to give any information as it is, was, Private !! This Obstinate and Continuing attitude and policy of keeping it a Closed Shop. Transparency and Disclosure In the Affairs of All Aboriginal and I slander Organisations Must be made Compulsory !! I have spoken to a couple of Board Members of QAIAS over the last few years on a few occasions....

I was employed as a counsellor with QAIAS from 82 to 84. When the Rehab was one floor at Jodaro Aboriginal Hostel at Newmarket. With a three month AA program. At that time it may have been the largest of it's kind. Certainly unique !! and, Very Successful ! Always with at least twenty (20) clients. Mainly Aboriginal with the odd white renegade. With about eight or ten Counsellors. Almost all Aboriginal and Islander. Including Administration and Management. All Genuine and Committed People. Including Most of the Clients. ( *No Pot-Heads. No-one there just to keep out of jail with no desire or intention to give up the grog. And to disrupt and to distract the serious clients. ) But it has Certainly Gone Downhill from there !! *This is happening a lot in rehabs around the Country. With the focus by “ Close the Gap “ on substance abuse issues and rehabilitation. ( alb )

A story of Cherbourg.

by Arthur Bell.

they endured lives of harshness and abuse by people charged with the responsibility for their care”. Anthony Newcastle.

First off, Cherbourg is not a 'Mission”. Never was. We used to, mistakenly, call it a mission because we had not much experience outside of Cherbourg Aboriginal Settlement (CAS) at the time. There may have been “missions” in other parts of Qld and other states and as we didn't know how to describe an Aboriginal settlement or reserve. And because other Blackfellas from around the Country didn't really know what a settlement was. Others lived on missions, and we used to wrongly describe Cherbourg as a Mission so other Blackfellas could relate to us or us to them. I was one. I did spend time in the boys’ dormitory in 1962-3 for about three months. I don't believe that I suffered, witnessed or knew of any “harshness or abuse”. And like many, I used to hang around there after and before school with mates. I used to go to the woman’s quarters and like all the rest of the kids, present at the girls dormitory for inspection before school in the mornings. And when getting our new school clothes. So I had a good view of what was happening. And I'm sure that people would verify this. Sure Chinny was strict. On reflection, he had to be when you consider the many strong spirited and adventurous boys (me being one) he and aunty Nellie had to look after. Considering all that stress he would have been under, as the man of the house, and as a surrogate father to all them boys, and over many years, I think he did a great job. And his and aunty Nellie's name should not be sullied. We all got a whack with the strap now and again. This mainly to keep us in line and to remind us of what we'd get if we really played up. My view was that they were both kind to us. And compassionate. The same as they were to their own kids. And we learnt a lot from them. I remember Chinny taking us out on trips to the bush up near the reservoir as boy scouts and setting up tents and sleeping there. Also at night, going out on cubs and boy scouts trips walking up to the dip-yard and the cemetery. With either Sturges or Bailey's son. With sports being encouraged. And not to forget that Chinny worked at the old manual training and went to Brisbane exhibition each year to put up the stand in the promotion of Aboriginal culture. I can't see where or how they were harsh or abusive to us. And I don't believe they would have stood by and let anyone else be. As any kids did, we carried on, putting on a show as any others when being disciplined. But we all had a good laugh afterwards. To me, I felt like it was one big family. And I believe most others felt the same way. If only on reflection. And as far as the girl's dormitory, I also can't believe that aunty Maudie Philips abused or harshly treated her charges or would have stood by while someone else did. And with some of the stories I heard as a kid with men/boys sneaking around for their girlfriends, I have no doubt that she would have had to be strict and exercise discipline. As would have been her responsibility. But an abuser.? I can't see it. But I could be wrong. What has aunty Jeannie Philips got to say about this and has anyone asked her.? Also, what has the O'Chin kids, now grown up, have to say on this issue, and has anybody asked them.?

Amy McQuire.

Just listenin to Amy on “Let's Talk”, she's a real child hey.? Journalist.? More of a “cub” reporter.! What did she do to land the job at 98.9.? Musta been her pretty green eyes.! I think they green. Could be wrong. But other than that, as far as I can see, she hasn't really got much to offer. Just the usual, two bob a dozen, common garden variety, “blame the gubberment/colonisation/dispossession for everything” Aboriginal activist rhetoric. Though I don't think you could really call her an “activist”. Maybe an “armchair” activist. Or “keyboard” activist. Other than that, I don't think she's ever really been involved in the “struggle” or the “resistance” to any extent. It's almost embarrassing really, how she talks to guests some times, with some of her silly, amateurish and almost childlike questions. She doesn't seem to have any obvious talent other than....other than what.? The ability to criticise.? Is that a talent.? A gift.? That “ability”.? Not really. Was it that that attracted Chris Graham.? The ability to “criticise”.? Now we’re stuck with her....it seems.... Gee Tiga's really spoiling her. Up to Cairns a couple of weeks back. Living the high life. Broadcasting from Bumma Bippera studio for a few days. Now down to Logan to report on a Stolen Wages meeting. But he'll have to do a lot to match her (then) amazing boss Chris Graham sending her on a trip to Vanuatu to report on the aftermarth of cyclone Pam.! But Tiga is trying very hard. There's no doubt about that.! +I think Tiga will find it a lot harder to get rid of her. If he wanted to that is.! (as if he would!) For a start, he's a Blackfulla.! What is/was Tiga hoping to achieve.? Ya gotta wonder where his head was/is. +What about us other Blackfullas.!? The audience.? Members of the Aboriginal community.? The people that supposed to own the radio station.? Now, I know that the “own” part is part of the continuing “Bull-Shit” associated with BIMA, but I'll use that term anyway. Did anyone bother to ask us if we wanted her there.? And if we don't, what have we gotta do.? I have to go now, but this continuing saga of BIMA, or should I say, Tiga and Col Dillon, has got a long way to run yet.! No, it ain't over yet.! Yes, Col Dillon, he's the fulla that has to take Full Responsibility.! He wants to play Chair-Person and Elder.? Well then, we'll see what happens.

I suppose the site visits will go up now....they always do when I....I think people get the word out on face-book...bla bla bla.... (alb)

Amy with Paul Daley on “Let's Talk” again. (her other favourite white-bloke!) “Can I read bla bla bla out”? He asks Amy. “Yeah sure”.! This from Amy. She sure loves “Whity”,! And admires and respects them too.! Even though she “runs them down” on air.! In reality, when you look at it, she's real “gammon” hey.!

Short changing our peoples fight for justice”. Any McQuire. Re the stolen wages issue....”There is very little self-determination when it comes to Aboriginal and Islander (people) in this Country”. Amy(?) “Just give me some feedback (on the BIMA face-book) I will really appreciate it”. Amy ....Well, I gave her some “feedback”. I pointed out to her that the Indigenous media was “a joke”. But she didn't like that at all .! She said thatI was “the joke”.! True.! On face-book.!....I think one of my many Cherbie nieces might have something to say to her about that.! (Tut tut, Amy should be careful who she goes mouthin off to.! Cherbourg rules up here. My Mob. And she can't hide in them AAA studios forever.) (alb)

Jon Altman and Amy McQuire on “Let’s Talk”. (26/10/2016. The way he carefully picks his way through what he has to say. He’s got this little trick where he doubles up on certain words to stress or emphasise a point. Amy is obviously fascinated by him. She loves these “whiteblokes”.! There’s “no doubt” about this. And secretly “craves” their attention. And approval.! And “acceptance”.! But the “Absolute Fucken Crap” he comes out with.! To Amy it’s “pure gold”.! She doesn’t know “Shit from Sugar”.! Chris Graham, Paul Daley and Jon Altman. Her whitefulla “idols”. Really though, if they gave her a sandwich with “shit” on it and told her it was jam, she would just hungrily “gulp” it down.! And “wouldn’t know the Fucken difference”.! Even though Amy goes on about “whitefulla” society and putting whitefullas down, she secretly wants’ to be on their team. Chris Graham spoiled her.
